GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS

1. Purpose

These General Rental Conditions (GRC) define the rights and obligations between:

FG SOLUTIONS, operating the website Skidoc.fr, a limited liability company with a share capital of €7,500, registered under number 890 383 078 R.C.S. Chambéry, with its registered office at 276 Route des Mines, 73210 AIME-LA-PLAGNE

hereinafter referred to as “the Seller” or “Ski Doc”

And

Any individual residing in France or abroad who makes a reservation or orders a rental service for products and services via the Skidoc.fr website,

hereinafter referred to as “the Client”.

2. Products and Services

Ski Doc offers rental of ski/snowboard equipment (hereinafter “Products and Services”) delivered to the Client’s place of stay. The essential characteristics of the products and services are presented on the website and are intended exclusively for consumer Clients.

Any order placed and paid for by the Client on the Seller’s website implies unconditional acceptance of these GRC.

3. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC).

The Seller reserves the right to modify prices on the website at any time. Products and services are invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of the order.

Administrative fees may be added to the order summary before payment.

The Seller has no control over exchange rates applied by the Client’s bank or any bank charges. The Seller declines all responsibility for exchange rate variations applied by the Client’s bank during transactions.

4. Order

By accessing the Seller’s website, the Client confirms they are legally capable of placing an order, doing so under their own responsibility, and able to provide proof upon request.

To place an order, the Client must select the desired products and services, follow the website steps, complete all required fields (marked with *), indicate the place of stay, optionally select insurance against damage and theft, and accept these GRC.

The order, sent by email and accessible via the Client’s personal account, is considered final upon payment confirmation.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in case of inaccurate information or dispute.

The Client is responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate before payment.

After ordering, the Client receives a confirmation email.

The Seller will contact the Client to arrange delivery.

5. Payment

Payment is made via secure methods available on the website:

- Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via the secure Stripe payment platform.

During the transaction, the Client is connected to a secure processing server. Banking data is encrypted and not accessible or stored by the Seller.

Payment is due immediately. In case of refusal, the Seller may cancel the order.

Currency fees and bank commissions are borne by the Client and are non-refundable.

6. Modification

Before the rental period, any request to modify products, Client name, or rental dates must be made via phone (+33 (0)7 55 53 73 69) or email (contact@skidoc.fr).

Changes may incur additional fees. If the new price is lower, Ski Doc will refund the difference.

No modifications can be made on the delivery day.

7. Delivery / Access to Service

After ordering, delivery is made by the Seller’s team on the date specified by the Client, at the address provided, within the agreed timeframe.

The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, exceptional circumstances, lack of access, or Client unavailability.

The Seller must inform the Client of any delay.

The Client must use the equipment responsibly, take all necessary precautions, and avoid damage throughout the rental period.

The Client is fully responsible for the equipment and may not sublet it.

8. Complaints

Any complaint must be sent by email to contact@skidoc.fr as soon as possible, with supporting documents, to seek an amicable solution.

If no satisfactory response is received within 60 days, the Client may use the following mediation service:

Consumer mediation body currently being appointed — the mediator's contact details will be provided upon request at contact@skidoc.fr and published on this page as soon as they are confirmed.

The Client has one year from the complaint to contact the mediator.

9. Insurance

At the time of booking, the Client may subscribe to insurance covering:

• partial or total breakage 

• partial or total damage 

• partial or total theft 

Exclusions:

• loss, forgetfulness, substitution 

• damage due to improper use 

In such cases, the Client must reimburse the full value of the equipment.

Insurance costs €2 per person per day (non-refundable).

Deductible is €0 if insurance is subscribed.

If no insurance is subscribed, the Client shall bear the cost of repairing the equipment where repair is feasible, or otherwise the cost of replacing the equipment as new.

Insurance can be added upon delivery but not after equipment handover. In case of theft, a police report is required.

All claims must be sent to contact@skidoc.fr. Insurance only covers rented equipment.

10. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to contact@skidoc.fr.

If received before arrival, no fees apply except insurance (non-refundable).

Partial or full refund (excluding insurance) is possible if:

• the Client cannot travel 

• the Client cannot use the equipment 

• the Client interrupts the rental 

Refund is subject to equipment being returned in original condition.

11. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French law and EU Directive (EU 2023/2673), the Client has 14 days to withdraw without justification, unless services have already been performed.

Refund will be made within 14 days of the request.

12. Liability

The Seller is not liable for:

• indirect damages 

• temporary website unavailability 

• misuse of website or services 

• delivery delays beyond control 

• incorrect Client information 

• climatic, social, or economic disruptions 

13. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the website’s privacy policy and GDPR. The Client has rights of access, correction, and deletion.

14. Intellectual Property

All website content is protected. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.

15. Applicable Law

These GRC are governed by French law.

16. Disputes

In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing this, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
